FAQ

Are PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. All merging happens entirely in your browser via pdf-lib. PDF files are never uploaded to a server, and memory is cleared on download or refresh.
How do I change the merge order?
Drag the cards in the file list, or click the up/down buttons on each row. The top-to-bottom order becomes the page order in the merged PDF.
Are encrypted PDFs supported?
PDFs that open without a password are supported. Files that require a password to open are automatically skipped with a notice, without affecting the others.
How many files can I merge at once?
Up to 20 PDFs per merge, 50 MB each. Too many or too-large files increase browser memory use—consider merging in batches.
