Are images uploaded to a server?
No. All images are converted locally in your browser and never uploaded. Memory data is cleared when you download or refresh the page.
Which image formats are supported?
Input supports JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP and AVIF; output is JPG, PNG or WebP. Only the first frame of a GIF is used. AVIF decoding requires a modern browser such as Chrome, Edge or Firefox; older Safari may not support it.

Does conversion reduce image quality?
