FAQ
What is the HEIC format?
HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is Apple's default photo format since iOS 11, with smaller files and better quality, but poor compatibility on Windows and some Android devices. Converting to JPG or PNG lets it open on any device.
Does conversion lose quality?
JPG conversion uses high-quality compression (quality 92), visually indistinguishable from the original. PNG conversion is lossless, with quality fully preserved.
Are my photos stored?
No. Files are converted only in server memory and deleted immediately after, with nothing written to disk, uploaded to the cloud, or any record kept.
How to choose JPG or PNG?
JPG has a smaller size, suited for sharing and uploading; PNG is lossless and supports transparency, ideal for further editing or maximum quality.
